I was considering maybe giving Heads Up SNG's a shot - I have looked in the HU forum, but can't seem to find much info for HU beginners. Does anyone have any good posts to look at?

i played 2 HU SNGs last night lost both...i just plain out suck at SNGs. I love playin HU cash but i have no clue w/ SNG style....

I got caned at 100nl. If you need a graph, picture 10bi up, then 10bi down, then 5 up, then 5 down. I was basically permanently on tilt for 3 days, every single second was tilt. thats why im resolved to head back, i know i can beat it. honstly the crap i saw there was just phenomenal, even in the middle of the day... the last hand I played i lost AA < JTo all in pre. The intense swings were too much for me and I have to control my tilt better to deal with it.

how much nittier can they be? twice they've checked their sets on the river to me (when there is no indication i'll bet) and called all-in overbets (i had lower sets). christ, just bet. it'd put me less on tilt.

got my roll back today - however after 8 weeks off im fairly sure i just plain straight suck at poker now.

gotta get back into the grind.

Good luck Bishops - I found that when I came back to poker, I donked 5BI and then it all started to come back.

Played my first two HUSNGs today and won both, they are quite fun. Second one, went AI on the flop with a pair of aces against villains 8high. They were $1+0.05, so have not really won much, but good fun anyways.
