Jonathanne of my friends in the US said he spoke to a customer support rep on his end, and they actually suggested transfering it out through me as a solution
Gillian: Yes well that is not a option that NETELLER would suggest.
Jonathan: well thats what he was told from neteller Jonathan: could you be more specific as to why this is frowned upon?
Jonathan: are you still here?
Gillian: Yes.
Jonathan: are you going to reply? i was asking if you could be more specific as to why this might be an issue
Gillian: It is just a option that we do not suggest.
Jonathan: well it is either against some rule, or it isnt
Jonathan: you are being very vague here
Gillian: I apologize for that but that is all the information I can give on this subject.
Jonathan: is there any way i can talk to someone more senior?
Gillian: In order to better assist you with your inquiry, we will need you to give us a call. Please contact our Customer Support at 44-(0)-870 351-3462 and we will be happy to assist you!
Jonathan: ok, thanks for the help

neteller support is as useful as party support

Raking in the huge fees and clearing out some of the american accounts. There seems to be more to this.

Just wanted to recommend MadMat. He's transferred a total of $26,500 for me for the standard fee in the past 48 hours. I had him send me the majority at Stars, and also used Absolute Poker and Full Tilt. -- Anywhere but Neteller!

To level with you, I actually went to Mat first because he's a member of my own small poker forum. He's done one other transfer for a 2p2'er here, he told me.

I trusted him with 26.5k. Enough said.

If anyone wants to sit and wait for customer support to answer their phones and ask to speak to someone more senior thats probably the best way to do it - the person i spoke to either knew nothing, or was told not to reveal information - all she said was i could get banned 'in the future'

I am from Norway, still logged into my account, but can not transfer my last 1300 anywhere. This might also have something to do with a instaCASH bug that I and several other posters have run into.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have encountered that twice this last 3 days. Second time right now. It went away after like 3 hours last time.

Something must've happen between yesterday and today. The last few days neteller seemed to encourage it but they have seemed to change their tune today. I thought it would be a win win situation for neteller. Raking in the huge fees and clearing out some of the american accounts. There seems to be more to this.

pete, 2+2 IS a fairly high profile site - would we should assume that interested parties would keep abreast of conversation here - perhaps the threshold of tolerance was crossed and pressure thence applied
