someone please refresh my memory....what is the infatuation with murton and cedeno. murton has had 4 plate appearances, and whiffed 3 times...and looked bad doing it. maybe just maybe cedeno could have took a pitch after hamels just walked two. very frustrating.

Murton lead this team with a .297 BA last year and has been lighting up the AAA ball all year. He needs ABs at the major league level on a consistent basis and he should become a decent everyday OF.

Cedeno has also been lighting it up in Iowa but seems to struggle with big league hitting as evidenced by his AB tonight. In due time he will see more ML ABs and should come around.

They're 9-3. Even disregarding sample size, they have 5 wins against the White Sox and the other 4 against Seattle and Texas. Very impressive...

Cubs are definitely in the top 4 teams in the NL (which doesn't mean much).

cubswin........this isn't iowa or AAA pitching. murton has never shown much power and he is a horrible fielder and base runner. he would have to hit .350 to make up for that.

cedeno has had ample opprtunity in the majors and looks like your typical AAAA player. his defense is nothing notable either from what i recall.

Murton has a .360 career OBP and .440 SLG in the MLB lolll
