Re: Today I became a pro.
MJ -
I would recommend having a good bankroll plan for wicks. Have his playing bankroll and a seperate fund for his weekly/monthly withdraws. Money goes from bankroll into the "buffer." Try to build this buffer up and use it to take care of expenses. This way you do not withdraw the expenses directly from your playing bankroll. This makes the swings and expenses easier to manage. Also some unexpected expenses wont send you to bustoville. Keep his playing bankroll adequate for the swings of whatever level he is playing. Using this system should keep any downswings from affecting your stable income. |

I have played 6.5 and 16 a lot , this is why Im writting some advice. Although I havent a coach , so the things were very different and hard for me. If I only would live in Kansas !!! Re: Today I became a pro.
Ok, I promised to deliver on something good tonight, and now I intend to make good on my word. So, I was bored today and decided to drive by Wickss former employer for some photo ops. I felt this might further some of you in living vicariously through him. You will notice that the latter vehicles are examples of the finest the fleet has to offer. As you ponder this, would you agree with me, that it is inconceivable to imagine a sane human being ever walking away from this? Ladies and gentleman, I believe the thread has just been moved to yet a higher level. MJ shoots and scores. Again.

[ QUOTE ] I don't see SB pushing ATC here. BB has 735 left after posting blind. How much FE could SB possibly have? What would be the logic of SB pushing ATC here? Why wouldn't he just let me take BB out without risking crippling his stack? [/ QUOTE ] Once you donk-raised, SB would push ATC knowing that you have to fold regardless of your hand since BB will be blinded off in two hands. There is no reason for you to attack the shorty BB through the monster SB with these stack sizes. Donking off 1/3 of your chips here is sick. If you meant to induce BB to shove if SB called, then it back-fired b/c SB had a clue and BB knew it. There is a difference between plays that are +CEV and those that are +$EV. In these circumstances, you need to learn how to recognize what makes you the most money, not the most chips...... /rant [/ QUOTE ] Hang on a minute. This is a push and it's not close. |

Josem = the new Slacker. Take your throne back Slack. [/ QUOTE ] You might be correct, this time Mr. Josem, It's clear that you know how to play no limit holdem. But what you are missing my friend with your ish, Sometimes at this level, they all aren't a fish. Small blind got his big stack by working the table, And making good choices, despite Wickss' fable. Small Blind is the bully, he has all the clout, And isn't afraid to tell Wickss "Get OUT!" When min-raising is right, I really don't know, But I'm not gonna do it, not here that's fo sho. So folding is right in this sticky spot, Min-raising is dumb so our Hero got caught. The moral, my friend (and inferior poet), Is that Wickss should have known that he just has to fold it. Now go back to your foosball, your soccer or pool, You know for a fact that I'd take you to school. /pwn Slacko |
