Still regardless I wouldn't do this against a nit because they don't fold, and they probably aren't really thinking too much about what their opponents are representing. They are just playing their cards.

[/ QUOTE ] Your 3-betting frequency should depend on a combination of their opening range and their calling range. 3-betting a 18/9 is fine if he only calls with the very top of his range. However, if he defends all his opens, you shouldn't be 3-betting him much. For the most part though, you are 3-betting people who open wide enough that their hands can't stand a raise, and will actually fold a lot of those hands.

A large chunk of B's 19 pfr will come from opening a wider range later, whereas A's 19pfr is much more consistent regardless of position.
