brag time: I went to game 1 of the WS. I also have 4 ticks to games 6 and 7 that will never happen (thankfully I didn't pay for them). They will make nice souvenirs to go with my official WS program and photos from the game.

trophy given to the team that wins the World Series in Majory League Baseball. It is called the Commissioner's Trophy I think. Its actually kind of weak sauce when it comes to big time trophies. Obviously no stanley cup.

anyone watch cole souths videos on CRs? It has me interested in playing some NL again. He actually plays lots of hands, and makes adjustments based on opponents and situations instead of 12-table set mining.

Needless to say I am trying lower stakes when taking a crack at his strategy.

I watched. Awesome vid!

I think it takes a lot of skills to implement the stuff he does. But its certainly a more entartaining style than the 14/10 nitty one

How are you supposed to counter a guy whos distribution is monsters + suited connectors?

If their range is any pair + any broadway, its much easier...

I just won a $200 pot when a guy 4-bet shoved on me with K3s, after I 3-bet resqueezed with A9o. It was a super easy call because he shoved when I was getting 4-1 to call and he expected me to have total crap because I had 3-bet pf with J8o in an earlier hand.

playing in this lag-maniac style is just hilarious. The TAGs have no idea what to make of you, and you end up playing tons of pots with the worst loosest players at the table.

I'm sure it will take lots of work to figure out how to really play it well, but I've finally found a way to play NL that makes it almost as interesting as limit.
