While I'd roll the dice and use Mo more in such situations, you guys do understand why you don't put a closer into tie games on the road, right? It's hardly stupid.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah i mean why would you want your best pitcher to prevent a team from scoring a run. it's pretty obvious why you bring in your closer in that spot - it's the highest leverage spot in the game so far, and if you get a lead at some other point, your worse pitcher now has at least a 1 run margin - 1 run doesn't mean an automatic loss. but no rivera has to get some of those save baubles.
