The end product looks like it'll be an eye sore. It's taking a lot longer to load (your bandwidth use is going to skyrocket). It sucks. If you don't want to believe your beloved posters (though you have no reason not to), than consult an outside source with some credentials in web design. This is bad bad bad. Bring back the old site design, and we can work on improving it from there.
