I pronounce it PAH-RUH-DIME like para in parachute

I say JY-ROH even though I know it's wrong. New Yorkers also say KUHNISH--one syllable--for knish (this is correct) and FOE for pho (actually pronounced like the FUH in the commonly used four letter word).

Does "aunt" rhyme with "taunt" or is it pronounced "ant"?

EDIT: Beat the smartasses to the "'It' is pronounced 'it', dumbass!"
