I'm not sure you can suspend a guy when there is not proof that he personally hadanything to do with this. (that sounds crazy, but if there's not proof....)

it makes more sense to punish the organization via fines/draft picks.

I was under the impression that the cameraman was on the Jets sideline. Is this not right? In anycase, this seems to be a clear (and intentional) violation of NFL rules, and as such seems to me to be flagrent cheating.

Somehow I doubt that the camera guy was able to film, analyze and decipher the Jets' signals in time to provide the Patriots with any aid during the game.

If I were the commish (and had the power to do so), I would penalise the Patriots 1 game in the standings for this year (i.e. their record would now be 0-1). I don't think it is fair to give the Jets a win in this situation since it seems clear that the Pats were winning this game anyway, but penalizing the Pats in the standings would be fair.

I don't really see the point of messing with draft picks.
