Well, sure, if you're drinking Stella instead of Bud, Miller, or Coors, yeah, you're mostly just flashy.

[/ QUOTE ]

Umm, isn't it way more expensive to insure 4 crappy cars than 1 nice one? And why have 4 crappy choices? That isn't really the point of the thread. Just have one $10K car and save the other $30K, don't buy 3 more $10K cars. I think you just sort of "fell in" to owning a bunch of cruddy cars and so you thought it was cool because nobody else outside of a trailor park has multiple cars on their front lawn.

to all you beer snobs...

its all in your head

don't worry, no one thinks less of you if you drink a brandname beer. and no one is impressed by your knowledge of teh imports.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh, thanks for clearing that up! Can you please recommend a good wine for me while you're giving out such great advice? Would you recommend Boone's Farm or Franzia? I mean, I'm sure good wine is all in the head too.

[/ QUOTE ]

What I mean is, for beer, obviously different brands have very different tastes. And to each his own, etc. But I don't think that just because a beer is imported, or unknown it makes it "better" than a domestic beer. I understand the elite status of having an unknown beer. But to say that it outright tastes better is just irrational.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, sure, if you're drinking Stella or Heineken or Corona instead of Bud, Miller, or Coors, yeah, you're mostly just flashy. However, if you are choosing to drink, you know, good beer that tastes better than a boring pale lager, then the choice over BMC is obvious. If you try a bottle of Trappist Rochefort 10, Chimay Blue, Delerium Nocturnum, or Weihenstephaner Weiss and can still tell me that they taste exactly the same as Bud, well, we'll all know just how highly to regard your opinion on beer.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is retarded, unless Im not getting the joke. Flashy if you drink stella, or heineken instead of bud light etc? wtf? Beers. Taste. Different. How can you possibly think someone is being "flashy" for drinking a beer? Some people like the taste of stella, some people like the taste of bud light, some people like chimay, some people like all the above. None of you people make sense

PS

I think people who eat gummi bears are flashy douche bags though, but its totally fine to munch on Dots.

Not necessarily, if you have 3 or 4 crappy cars, you arent going to probably need full coverage, so you can probably get 3 cars liability only, and it would be less than full coverage on 1 nice car. I have full coverage on my nice car, and I have liability on my old wrangler, I have the wrangler as my primary driver, it dropped my payments down, so in some cases 2 cars is better than one.

The only point for owning multiple cars w/ one driver has no practicality other than that. Id much rather have 1 nice daily driver, than having to chose from a probe, an escort and a hyundia every day.

non-practicality reasons though are different obv (convertibles, fast cars, etc)

Frozen pizzas (I love Jack's and Gino's)
Household cleaning supplies
T-shirts
Sunglasses

I drove an old Lincoln that I pimped out for years and loved it, but it recently went gg and I treated myself to an Audi.
