You guys hear TCAP is getting sued for $105M? Sounds like a strong case too. http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/...w_N.htm?csp=34 [/ QUOTE ] So if you don't go meet them they come to your house.. nice. Wonder how many weeks you could lead them on, and set up meetings and not show up. |

Actually this guy I feel really sorry for - a cancer doctor with a wife, kids, a productive and - above all, as far as my empathy goes - middle class member of society:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYArtdX2Kv0 I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, believe he was just curious, not really any kind of risk, and it's a great shame his life has been ruined. |

I can't believe the announcer actually said "cancer doctor"
Also: [ QUOTE ] I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, believe he was just curious, not really any kind of risk, and it's a great shame his life has been ruined. [/ QUOTE ] Are you serious? Just because he's a doctor? His chat with the girl online definitely reveals more than curiosity. |

[ QUOTE ]
Most of the guys on the show, probably 99%, are creepy nasty child abusers or at least child abuser wanna bes That having been said, it's really dangerous to start punishing people for things they WANT to do, rather than things they've actually done. [/ QUOTE ] Just playing devil's advocate here: Maybe we could say they are being punished for things they TRIED to do rather than "WANT" to do. For example if someone TRIES to rob a bank or kidnap someone, they still violated the law. So, TRYING to have sex with a kid is a crime, whereas WANTING to is not. Cause we'd all be in jail, LDO. |

[/ QUOTE ] I like how after the guy asks for his lawyer, the cop asks him FOUR TIMES if he wants to waive his request. I do feel bad for this guy a little. |

[/ QUOTE ] Are you serious? Just because he's a doctor? His chat with the girl online definitely reveals more than curiosity. [/ QUOTE ] I don't understand this either. It's okay for doctors to molest kids, but not, say, accountants? What prestige level do we draw the line at when deciding who is cool to let molest kids? Are lawyers okay? College professors? How about if a guy has a pretty lowly job, but he's made a lot of money at it -- like maybe a guy owns a really profitable drycleaning shop and is a multi-millionaire off that. Would we prosecute a real estate agent who handled lower-level properties, but not one who sold expensive ones? |

uhm.. haven't you learned anything? You can get away with murder if you are rich, so molesting kids is like childs play
