Iggy,

Nicely done on the Manhattans. I suspect I'll approve of your taste in booze more than I do of whatever Shadow was drinking.

All,

As for my drunkern-ness, I put away a pitcher of Arrogant Bastard while dancing to this Aussie dude named Harper. He played sort of rock/blues/funk fusion in which he sang and played both the harmonica and the dijeridoo. It was pretty sweet.

When you got pulled over, did you ask to see the calibration certificate for the radar gun? Was the cop in court?

If the answer to either of these questions is "no" then you just wasted $76 and a bunch of time in court. Dropping it to a 9 mph violation is the easiest way for the court to get rid of you, because they don't have to worry about putting points on your license, and you're so relieved to not be getting busted for reckless you'll agree to anything.

Nice work, Matlock.

My thinking at the time was that he was a stupid passive player who was scared of the turn flush card. I was right on that count, but I thought he was scared with AA/QQ. I didn't expect the river donk to be trips, so I probably should have called given the potsize and near impossibility of a 3bet.

For the extreme in blocking, we "could" have it so that whwnever some one tried to make a new thread this little window popped up asking/informing them "You are about to post in a FIXED LIMIT forum!" I say could in quotes because I don't think the software lets us, but it'd get the job done.

For [censored]'s sake, people, is this REALLY this big a problem? So big that we're going to inconvenience OURSELVES? Shania does not approve of putting yourself out to correct other people's mispostings. Let's just start giving them really, really bad advice. Here: I'll post a $2 bounty per month, transferred on 'stars, for the worst/funniest piece of advice given BY A REGULAR MICRO-POSTER in a mis-posted NL thread. Kind of like last year's Wookie Points (whatever became of that, Wook?).

Now let's have some FUN!

So chasing the 10B on stars I netted:

Stud: -5.20
Razz: +6.40
LHE: - .40
___________
+ .80

Plus a $6.50 HORSE STT win for $26.00

net: +$20.30

Will someone stake me to the $50K buy in at the WSOP?

edit: I also watched jello wrestlimg at the local saloon after taking 2nd in Omaha. All in all a good nite.
