BTW I think the thing Juliet wanted to tell Kate was that she was pregnant and I'd assume Sawyer is the daddy. [/ QUOTE ] I got the impression it was directly related to the phone and being able to contact the outside world, something juliette shared with jack |

[ QUOTE ] The "he's not who we thought he was" schtick is straight out of The Matrix. "I told you exactly what you needed to hear." Meh. [/ QUOTE ] I say Meh to your bad analogy. The Matrix quote was explicit, and revealed the fact that the Oracle had misled Neo for his own good. Ben's statement has none of these elements. It is vague to the observer, and was clearly not made for Locke's benefit. Meh. [/ QUOTE ] IMHO it is likely that that line was said precisely for Locke's benefit. |

Decent setup episode - the writers did a good job making everything fuzzy and gray.
The weird thing is how "poised" Locke's father was in all the scenes - no anger, no fear, no emotion - taunting his son. Plus he remembers a con from 30 years ago and remembers the exact dollar amount of 38K. Just seemed a little too scripted. |

Well [censored] you Eagles. I've seen every episode, I know that's how Jack's personality is. Still, there's a difference in the Ben/Juliet situation. We/he knows Juliet DEFINITELY is an other, whereas they really didn't know if Ben was. I was simply stating I hope it turns out for once that Jack really doesn't trust her, when it turns out Juliet is still working for them, this will be the what, 3rd time Jack was blatantly wrong, dangering the losties? How many times can they just forgive him...however Kate does say to him "we don't trust you anymore" so at least they aren't just letting him off completely.

His lack of fear of death might be explained by his firm belief that he's already dead.

how is no one gonna comment on Rousso (sp?) gettin dynamite from the ship? Locke never questioned her about it or anything.
Anyone have any idea of where the Others may be going to? I feel like it might be to the main station, they one that is in the center of all the others. Jack is really being an idiot. Believing everything that Juliette is saying is absolutely ridiculous. And Kate, damnit i'd [censored] the hell out of her but damnit i also want to punch her |
