...see if it becomes better. [/ QUOTE ] How "bad" is it? You should be getting just under 25 city and around 30 hwy, depending on the specific config of your car (the 6cyl/auto is the worst). If you're significantly below that (say 15-25%), take it to your local dealership for service; they will hook it up to a computer and adjust the ICM (Ignition Control Module...computerized replacement for the old distributor, might be called something else). If you're only 5-10% off, just do a standard service, and remember that you might be suffering from small sample size. |

Re: As the mod, if I want that [censored] to be long, it\'s gonna be lo
Check the air pressure in your tires and check your air filter. Besides the engine these are the biggest crunches on your gas mileage. Your tires can lose up to 1/2 lb (sorry don't know the conversion) of pressure a week.
Your air filter, if clogged can seriously hurt your gas mileage. I use K&N air filter in my car. They are nice because you really never have to change them, for some odd reason they work better the older they get, but if you must they have cleaning kits for them. Even if you don't use K&N, a simple 10 dollar air filter can save you that much on gas in a few tanks. |

i'm sure it'll die, but i love him anyway. [/ QUOTE ] I check up on the legislation forum every now and then. Barney Frank is proposing a bill this week to lift the ban on online poker. Its a slim shot, but its far better then no bill. |

with a sweet quote by me!!! [/ QUOTE ] Interesting. We went through a bunch of incidents like this during my last couple of years in college, and several years following my graduation. The argument against your stance, of course, is that you can't be allowed to get away with poor behavior just because you admitted it. I mean, if OJ said, "Yeah, I killed her, she was a bitch," instead of running, yada yada, should he have walked? The punishments handed down by the J-Board actually seem pretty tame, generally, but I think not allowing you to have a pledge class next year is clearly either retarded or designed to close down your house and should be appealed. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I mean to be perfectly honest I think it could move in this Congress and the President probably isn't eager to spend a lot of the minimal political capital he has remaining to him to oppose it. The big question is priamrily if/how fast it can move and whether the President will sign it. The Democrats should really fold it into something else in order to ensure it's passage but it's not likely to get out of Committee and be voted on for several months at least. |

Re: As the mod, if I want that [censored] to be long, it\'s gonna be lo
boz,
you have no idea about the level of animosity that the administration has for fraternities here. i considered it a grand success that we weren't kicked off campus. davidson getting into three network television stations and the charlotte observer = badbadbad. anyway, the no pledge class thing is definitely designed to close the house down. luckily, we've got about 80 brothers right now, down to 60 without a pledge class next year. i wrote a killer appeal, so we'll see how that turns out. holla |
