Is there a legit way to watch the matches online next week? Or will they air on any extended basic channel?

They air in the US on ESPN2 and ESPN Classic. Isn't ESPN2 "extended basic" on most cable providers?

Been away. Just watched the match on DVR.

Some initial thougths before I go to my Intramural softball game:

1)Totti's free kicks were nothing short of miserable. His one awful one went right to Van der Sar which led to the Rooney goal. Very dissapointing.

2)Our back 4 play was very uncomfortable. Their touches they put on the ball seemed very nervous.

3)We go back to Old Trafford with an advantage, but it's not that big. I think if we can get one goal at United's place, we'll be in good shape.

Can't wait for the 2nd leg.

Quick question, are yellow cards getting cleaned at any point for the rest of the tournament??

Not having Scholes will hurt ManU in that second leg, but I would expect them to play for a 1-0 win, which could be quite good for Roma because I think ManU is better when they are on the attack.

If ManU attacks the whole game, there is no way Roma does not score because our counter attack is our biggest strength.

I haven't seen it yet (should be on my DVR). But I don't believe they are in HD. The DirecTV on-screen guide did not list it as being in HD and http://www.hdsportsguide.com/ does not list next week's games as being in HD.

The key, and I know its redundant, is Roma has to shut down Ronaldo. Take over the midfield and as you said, counter.

depends on if your back 4 looks as shaky today in two weeks or not. Being down a man in the second half really prevented us from scoring a second goal IMO. Ronaldo was running roughshot through the midfield. Of course, if our defending had been confident on that second goal, it'd most likely be 1-1. Hell, if our defending had been competant period, I don't think a goal gets scored at all. I'm not sure how much of it is due to Vidic being out or not. Remember though, in two weeks we will have a fully healthy Saha, so our attacking options will be much greater and he will give the defense massive problems
