[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] GG online poker. [/ QUOTE ] Why would you say something like this? Lee Jones made very few of the important decisions regarding pokerstars. [/ QUOTE ] I doubt Lee would admit it, but I'm sure leaving Pokerstars for the EPT has at least something to do with him being a US citizen and wanting to live here in peace somdeday [/ QUOTE ] |

[/ QUOTE ] it's just one more sign of the industry moving back underground. the industry (meaning the actual operators, and especially US facing operators) lost one of the few public faces they had. I doubt Lee would admit it, but I'm sure leaving Pokerstars for the EPT has at least something to do with him being a US citizen and wanting to live here in peace somdeday [/ QUOTE ] It could also be that a job on television is simply a better job than the one he had? Being an announcer for the EPT opens up a lot more doors for him than being the pokermanager at Pokerstars. |

I don't think he's making this career-shift to serve his financial interests and have a hunch that the person you are responding to might be onto something. In any case, Lee Jones really helped improve the poker world in his capacity as Stars Manager, and become a folk-hero in the process. He will be missed. "Something is happening here, and you don't know what it is. Do you, Mr Jones?" |

Lee, PokerStars is a very professional and well run buisness. I feel the same about you. I don't know how you got to where you are today, but I'm sure it was from smart decisions.
