Why would you pay $150/hr for a 1/2 player?? There are guys who play MSNL who charge less than that. [censored] me Grim was charging less than that.

Those chat logs are bad, but in experience with him on AIM, he seems like he would be more responsive. While I never have had a coach, it would be worth $225 to me if I got even a little something out of it. FWIW, I play 200NL and 400NL, and I know he was a big winner at 200NL anyway.

Besides, we haven't heard his side yet.

I really need to look into getting a coach. Of course, only for a couple sessions a first

exactly, if you have any post history and no anything, you can usually get a session exchange with an ok winner at 1/2 anyway

That is much more valuable to the requisite skill level IMO

but, then again, I've never paid for a big-time coach

I got coaching from Snowbank a while back, and I wasn't very impressed at all and got little out of it. I "signed up" for like 4-5 hours but I only used 2. I only sent him $$ for the first session of two hours and that was it. I didn't actively pursue finishing our lessons and that was that.

I told you so.

LOL at anyone paying $150/hr to get coached by snowbank. I'm sure he can do a really good job teaching you what you want to raise pre flop, and whether you want to raise the flop or the turn with your set.
