Well, I think Tiger 2007 is pretty solid. But keeping in mind that this is the first generation on Wii, I'll give EA a break. I do expect 2008 to be the best golf game ever made.

Sucks to hear this game isn't as good as it could have been. Played some Wii Sports Golf over the weekend and it's awesome, so much fun and the controller works perfectly. They've got me doing practise swings and getting that muscle memory working, it's a very cool experience. One thing they should have done IMO is made it harder to get a 100% power swing, but I suppose they did it so grannies can play too.

My only gripe with the game is that it's not fully fleshed out. What I want is the exact same engine (with the above-mentioned change) and real golfers, more courses, more clubs and a tougher gameplay challenge. Sounds a lot like TW2007 but I'm not prepared to put up with control glitches after experiencing the sublime controls of Wii Sports Golf. Guess I'm stuck waiting for 2008.

I've played enough to max out all my stats using points--but what's frustrated me is trying to maximize my bonuses using equipment. I can't find a listing of equipment in the game to try and figure out how to improve my skills by purchasing optimal equipment. for one, I want to increase my bonuses on driving as right now i can only equip 2. does anyone have any links to an equipment guide or advice on how to maximize bonuses?

I don't think it is possible to max the bonuses for most stats. I think Luck, Recovery, and one of the Accuracy stats were all I was able to max. The drivers have a lightning bolt with a circle, as well as a lightning bolt. I have no clue what the circle does, but it doesn't show up in any of the bonuses.
