Did you watch the Colts/Pats game?

First, NE had 93 yards rushing. That isn't anywhere close to 200 yards.

[/ QUOTE ]

my bad, it was the BEARS that had ~200 (196) yds rushing. oops.

and yeah, I definitely watched that game, it kind of ruled

The special teams coverage was what made this a shootout, the Colts defense actually played quite well.

You do realize the Bears special teams>>>>>>>>>>>& gt;>>>>NE special teams right?

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah I hate to see what Devin Hester is going to do if Hobbs can go off like he did in the AFC title game

also I need to clarify since I've been Colt (and particularly Manning) nut-hugging lately.

I'm not a hardcore Indy fan, but I have kind of liked Peyton and have cheered for him when he hasn't played the Bucs. That's the way I am with most things football, I like a lot of players, and their teams only by extension. I think he gets bashed way too much, especially by this board (although that is not so much the case lately, and its awesome) and I want him to win mostly so he can look at all of the haters with a nice big smile.

Also I'm a HUGE Pats anti-fan, which over the past 3 years or so has kind of made me a Colts fan by proxy.

but anyone that wants to scream "OMG BANDWAGONER" will be justified.

Bear down, Chicago Bears, make every play clear the way to victory;
Bear down, Chicago Bears, put up a fight with a might so fearlessly.
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T-formation.
Bear down, Chicago Bears, and let them know why you're wearing the crown.
You're the pride and joy of Illinois, Chicago Bears, bear down.

I would take Joe Buck and Aikman over Nantz and Simms. Am I the only one?

Nantz>>>Buck
Aikman>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>Sim ms

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes. But only because I have Buck rated far lower than you do. Simms will have a hard time doing a bigger about-face than he did during the Colts-Pats game. He wailed endlessly about what a mistake it would be for the Colts to even consider going for the two-point conversion and detailing his reasoning which no sane human being would agree with. Then late in the game he poses the rhetorical question "How big was that two-point conversion?" aarrrgh!

Since there is a bye week and that means an extra week of dredging up non stories, how long until ESPN has their first report that focuses on the fact that Grossman comes from the program (Florida) that Manning could never beat in college? Seems like its only a matter of time, no?

I wish we could bring the defense arguement going on in a Sports Betting Thread over here. That would rock.

Anyway, NoodleMan they will be bringing that up sometime you can be sure of that.

I see the Colts D holding Chicago under 100 rush yards, and dominating the LOS. You are in for a long ride Bears.

Didn't the Pats have a bunch of UF WRs. I know Caldwell and Gaffney went to UF.
