You planning on increasing your play each month? The points don't carry over from month to month.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, I'm at about 20-25,000 hands per month - most is PLO25 and PLO50. But since Full Tilt and UB have better rakeback, I play most of my hands there. I am just going to shift over enough to meet the Stars VPP requirments. The Gold to Platinum month will be the heaviest on Stars.

Also, I'm overrolled for NL25 and NL50 and I can play higher stakes if I need to.

I did rough calculations (not sure if they are 100% right), but based on my numbers

At the Bronze level - for every 3.4 hands I play at PLO25, I get 1 FPP
Silver 2.3 hands/FPP
Gold 1.7 hands/FPP
Plat 1.4 hands/FPP

At Platinum I calculated 87 PLO25 hands per $1 worth in bonus.
UB = 47 hands/$1
FT = 61 hands/$1

So clearly, it actually makes more sense for me to just play all my stuff on UB or FT and buy a gift certificate outright, but Stars has got me hooked with the idea of getting a gift certificate from their store.

(Of course if Stars made if more attractive for lower stake players to play Stars, I'd play more on Stars than I do now.)

I've given up. Just over 50k VPP. The games are getting worse and worse and I need to play more then I have been which just isn't feasible.

134k VPP

Will easily make Elite if I continue to play even half of my poker at Stars, but I am not sure I will continue to do so.

How much is Elite worth? Obviously you get about $30k worth of tournament entries - you also get your FPP bonus upped to 400% from 250% - meaning you'll get another 1.5 million FPPs the following year if you repeat. That's worth about $25k.

So Supernova Elite has a value of 55k, as long as you renew it, which is the annoying part as you can only miss one month.

Meh, maybe i'll do it. If I get anywhere close then obviously it's worth it just to spend the time to complete it.

52k VPPs so far. I just started 12-tabling, and if I can move up to all $100+ SNGs I might actually make it. Assuming PS is in full swing all year of course.

I am a bit behind schedule. I really need to pick up the pace if I have any shot at making it. It's really tough to rack up the fpps playing NL.

Hmmm... forgot about the bonuses, although those don't really require Supernova elite, but just advanced levels of Supernova.

1st bonus - $2000 for 50k FPPs = 4 cents per FPP = $1200 value over usual FPP worth
2nd bonus - $2200 over usual FPP worth
3rd bonus - $3200 over usual FPP worth
4th bonus - $4200 over usual FPP worth
5th bonus - $6700 over usual FPP worth

So these bonuses have a value of $18.3 k. Not $21.5k since you have to spend some of your FPPs to redeem them.

But what I mean is if I finish with 1,000,000 VPPs vs. if I finish with 800,000 VPPs. So i've already made all the bonuses. Then it would seem that Supernova Elite is worth about $55k. This would make it worth while to devote a month to playing exclusively on Stars, even if the games aren't quite as good.

So I guess what I'm saying is that if I end up getting close I will do it, but won't go out of my way devoting most of my year to Stars if I find that there are better combinations of games+rakeback elsewhere.
