"That is just Brett trying to make a play there."

I hope that Rex haters realize that many other popular QBs struggle. This was almost the exact same situation Rex was in....

"That's who he is. That's in his DNA."

Sigh, poor Rex.

Green Bay's D isn't very good FYI. Mediocre 9er D stopped Alexander last week.

Guess they played 16 terrible defenses last year.

So are the rest of the games this year a mulligan as well?

I'm not going to debate if Alexander is good or not. He is. He has been hurt this year. If you want to act like its all a mirage, go ahead. Life is too short to argue about the obvious.

The O-Line was 00ber-pro last year, by far the best in the league. Hasselbeck wasn't injured, he looked a lot better than he did this game.

I'm still impressed by the O-Line this week, maybe we start showing flashes of 2005 seahawks now. Still getting a bit lucky though, I think.

Is it ok to steal Russ's: "Is Favre playing all-time QB" joke?

I'm way late, but yes.

Did I say he was bad. I'm just saying he hasn't been as good this year as he looks tonight and 1 game isn't going to change my mind. He runs wild against Denver and later against SD with Merriman back then you can say he's back. He was very good tonight. I'm still not impressed at all with GNB's run D.

Is Alexander really good or is he simply a product of good blocking by his O-line?

[/ QUOTE ]
He's pretty good. Mo Morris didn't exactly light it up while Alexander was out.

[/ QUOTE ]

Mo Morris didn't have Walter Jones blocking for him.

Alexander is good, but he has a good offensive line and a very good fullback blocking for him. Last year he had a fantastic offensive line blocking for him.

Walter Jones was out? You mean Hutchinson.
