Seriously why do you guys use urinals?

I have such a shy bladder than I cannot piss at urinals. Who knows where my psychological problem lies exactly, but if I'm at a urinal with other dudes nearby, nothing will come out no matter how bad I have to go or how hard I try.

So I always piss in stalls.

But seriously, how can you guys use urinals? I don't care how careful you are there will always be a little bit of rebound, be it microscopic splashes. But its piss for crying out loud, and many times it someone elses piss. So. what do you guys think?

I haven't read everyone's replies but if I were your buddy I would still be making fun of you. I also would not have waited 10 minutes for you because you refuse to use a urinal.

Don't worry so much about "microscopic splashes" of piss, urine is sterile and it won't hurt you.

I've seen big @ss turds in urinals a handful of times in my life. When the f* did someone have the chance to take a dump in the urinal? I wonder if anyone ever walked in on them?

There are undoubtedly more germs that you come in contact with throughout the day outside the restroom, that would make this ritual silly. Urinal splashback is only a small small portion of what you come in contact with on a day to day basis.

Actually what pisses me off about backsplash is when little drops get onto my dress shoes. Sometimes I'll just do the long-distance piss, which probably puts the cleaning lady in a pissier mood [pun intended].

When you walk into a bathroom and smell piss/[censored], that's because microscopic particals of someone else's urine and excrement just went up your nose.

I'd be more worried about that than tiny particals on my jeans.

The urinals at Shogi Tobuchi's (sp) in Branson have crushed ice in them. I thought it was awsome. They also have a pool table in the men's room.
