Who are these morons that pay so much?
I guess their time is worth much more than a few hundred dollars.

i'm picking up as many extra as i can on launch day; after they sell out by noon everywhere, people will turn to ebay to get one shipped out on Monday

If I were able to obtain one on Friday, what would you think would be the best length of time option on ebay. A 3 or 5 day auction?

Thanks

if u obtain a ps3 on Friday?

it will depend on how the market is; i'll look at what buy-it-nows are going for...hopefully people are doing them for 2k+ so that's what they'll go for...but if 100 people put them up for 1500, then those will have to get bought before people pay more than that...

I don't think they'll go for 2k, I've seen about 10 sell today for an average of about $1,850, excluding the one that went for $3,500. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

if they average 1850 now, then they will be over 2k this weekend

the prices will rise after launch like they did with 360s

right now, people still have a shot at getting one...once it launches and sells out on friday, ebay is their only option other than waiting for new shipments

OK, so for someone that will be getting them on Friday, how would you recommend that one goes about getting setting up the auction? Length of time? Set a reserve, or no? Any other ideas/tips?

Try to have it end on a weekend afternoon, no reserve and start the auction at $1.
