When did you start filing taxes on your poker earnings? Its about that time for me and I was wondering when you started.

Also, is it an easy process?

[/ QUOTE ]
I haven't done this yet. I'm going to go to an accountant ASAP though and hopefully he can do it for me.

did you ever have a coach?

No, I've just discussed hands over 2+2, AIM, and the IRC channels.

What are your PT stats? VPIP, etc...

[/ QUOTE ]
Like I said I've played a lot of different styles, but I just filtered my PT for my last two weeks at 10/20 NL and the stats are:

VPIP: 25
PFR: 18
ATSB: 39
FSB2S: 88
FBB2S: 74
PTBB/100: 4

What poker books have you read and would recommend?

[/ QUOTE ]
I've read several but I don't think books are a good way to learn NLHE, experience and discussing tough hands with others is more important.

What are you studying at William and Mary and do you have a favorite prof?

[/ QUOTE ]
I'm studying mathematics and economics and I really like all the professors in the math department. My favorites would be Professor Bolotnikov and Professor Spitkovsy.

How often do you hit Paul's Deli?

[/ QUOTE ]
I was at Paul's two weeks ago, but we usually go to the Green Leafe or College actually, Paul's hasn't been quite as popular lately.

How do you handle playing tables of varying stakes? I've found this very uncomfortable when I've tried.

Great question! It's all about the bet pot script. I don't even notice the stakes really, I just am in a rhythm and am always using the pot script to right click and scroll in increments of the pot. I really try not to think about the differences in stakes and this was previously tough to do, but with the AHK script is very easy. The only bad part about playing multiple limits is say running great at 3/6NL and getting coolered all over at 10/20NL .

I'm a W&M alum -- how are things in the Burg? Are you living in the dorms, or do you have an apartment off-campus? What made you choose W&M? And what attracted you to poker?

[/ QUOTE ]
Williamsburg is great, I'm living off-campus in a house with five friends. W&M was a great deal, has good academics and a nice campus, and I was accepted so those are reasons why I chose it. I guess PartyPoker commercials and stories of people making money attracted me to poker.

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed, W&M is an awesome deal, particularly if you get in-state tuition (which I did & assume you do). I'm in Chicago now and miss the campus & town sometimes, particularly in the non-summer months -- then again, the closest live poker of which I was aware then was in AC, and I definitely don't miss that. Been to Pierce's recently?
