Okay this is going to be embarassing.

the first song I ever really liked was the Turtles "Happy Together"

but the first song I got crazy about and made my Mom turn up the radio in the car whenever it came on was Hall & Oates "Maneater" OMG this is embarassing, my only defense is I was like 6 yrs old

Hahahhahahahah!!!! I played that with my band in a talent show. The next song we played (Territorial Pissings - Nirvana) we had a moshpit on stage and were banned from playing any HS events again.

Good times... goooood times....

PS. Singer had to write an apology letter to the event coordinator about our actions on stage that nite, ROFLMAO sucker!

let's see... the first one i really remember consciously liking (and i still do) was "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses. I think I was six when I first heard it.

but i have random snippets from even younger years. and two i remember drawing me in as a child were the theme to MASH ("Suicide Is Painless") and "Runaway" by Del Shannon. A couple other random '50s and '60s songs were in there but those stand out the most.
