When I first started playing online, I'd play on the phone with a buddy of mine at the same table...mostly just to pass the time. When one of us would get the most money on the table, we'd call ourselves 'Table Captain', which was shortened to Captain, and over time to Cappy. The AA is the obvious addition to the end.

My name is Kurt. In college, I had a Greek Roommate. We used to speak to each other like we were both foreign(though I wasn't.) We spoke in accents and pretended to be foreign studs.

Kurt became Eastern European when my roommate pronounced it as "Koor-to".

And the name is never taken when I need a user id.

We play a lot of cards on my dad's side of the family: dealer's choice poker, hearts, spades, rummy, whatever. Sometimes we play games using a 40-card Italian deck, which has Tarot suits--cups, coins, clubs and swords--instead of hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades. My dad was the first one to teach me any kind of card games, so King of Swords is a card-playing reference and also a part of my roots.

If you end up following the Wikipedia link, the Spanish aces right under the Italian entry look just like the ones from the deck we play with.
