[ QUOTE ]
Regarding "cheer"'s claim that it could be any bio course, that is not true. As an applied econ major, I think that he would probably not want to take (an unrequired) bio course. Of the bio courses that fufill some sort of degree requirement, only Biol 4501 satisfies this (the ethics req IIRC). So it is very very likely the course in question is Biol 4501.

Please know what the hell you are talking about before spewing ridiculous BS.
The OP could have taken practically any BIO course at UMN, and had you actually done your research you would know that.
Every student at UMN has liberal education requirements that are not specific to their major.
see here: LibEd Requirements

and to the OP, this can't be your first mis-step. You must already be on academic probation or this wouldn't be a big issue. And speaking from experience, there is very little chance of your grade being changed here. They just don't care. Seriously.
Good luck anyway, hopefully all this flaming can be used as motivation and you can successfully finish college.

I absolutely don't get all the Evenkeal hate. Not just because he was just trying to pick up free citunal money, but because it's hilarious. When did 2+2 stop loving trainwrecks and dramabombs and whatever else you lot call awesome threads?

I was a ridiculously lazy student college(and I have the 2.4 GPA to prove it!), but come on. Begging a professor to raise your grade by SIX PERCENT? You've got to have one hell of an entitlement complex to think that not getting a C- with a 64% qualifies as a "beat."

cheer, you never answered my question about why you needed to see a specific advisor.

[censored], after I eat lunch I might get back on UMN's website and help Evenkeal out. For free.

FlyWf,

Right on brother!

I too totally don't understand when BBV and 2p2 in general stopped being all about trainwrecking fools.

God I hate people who act like they're "entitled" to everything.

You sound JUST like one of my stupid renters. I hope you get the D and get kicked out of school.

[ QUOTE ]
Definition of deserve (verb)
forms: deserved; deserved; deserving
to be worthy of; to have a right to

[/ QUOTE ]

So, do you think you are worthy of a C-? Or is it that you think you have the right to it?

Let's see if we can break this down:

If you think that the teacher should obviously count your grade as higher because of how good your (late) work was or how clear it was that you (could have) mastered the material (if you had taken the time to show up for class and do the work, etc), you're just a toolbox.

[/ QUOTE ]

yes I do think I deserve it.

could have? what does a "Final" mean to you? I know that getting a B is not "mastering" the material, however I believe that by getting B's, I deserve some sort of acceptable credit. I deserve a C-.

[/ QUOTE ]

please kill yourself before you become a renter of mine

This thread is pretty ridiculous.

While OP may have acted like a douche (I keep coming to the question of why ONE D would get him flunked out of school in the first place), I think a few of the posters here have shown far worse character.

Talk about a sense of entitlement, people here think that they have some sort of right to punish OP for his actions. Get off it. You've no right to be an "administrator of justice." And for people getting entertainment out of trying to ruin someone's life, that's just pathetic.
