Default Re: Sluss\'s 2007 AFC Rankings (Week 4)

Alright, it took me a day or so of being completely lazy at work to come up with these numbers. I'm not going to say what my method/formula is, but this is all 'data' from the first 4 weeks of the season. A score of 1.00 is average.

Pats - 2.638
Steelers - 2.15
Colts - 1.751
Titans - 1.600
Texans - 1.351
Jaguars - 1.198
Bengals - 1.191
Browns - 1.018
Chargers - 0.835
Raiders - 0.815
Dolphins - 0.717
Ravens - 0.702
Chiefs - 0.682
Broncos - 0.675
Jets - 0.625
Bills - 0.537

I'm going to try and update these numbers every week. I do think this definitely needs tweaking on my end because I think it severely penalizes crappy offensive teams and gives too large of an edge to good defensive teams. I should also say to all Colts fans that these numbers were not finagled in any way to put your team 3rd. I am truly sorry, and only hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me....and Rodney.

I don't get this attitude. Football is an business, and this business has rules for their employees. Harrison (and others) broke a rule and got punished.

If the NFL says "YOu have to wear SCUBA flippers while playing", you'd better put them on. If you don't want to dress like a duck, don't play in the NFL. Everyone knew the rules and consequences.

I understand football is about being the strongest and fastest, but simply because those are qualities that PEDs confer doesn't justify breaking the established rules.

Nobody is saying Harrison was "right" or that he was justified in doing what he did.

Ok, so what exactly was the point of asking how many Colts are on PEDs?
