No, I know muay thai from taking classes. There is some shadowing boxing as warm up. That is pretty standard for any type of martial arts.

Anyway, I think people are being a little harsh. Enjoyed the story, and it takes two to tango - if what you said is accurate, he was escalating things as much as you were. And while I hope I wouldn't be gullible enough to both show up and STAY through the presentation, the fact is you were probably already running hot by having been tricked. You didn't convey that in your OP but I imagine you were annoyed.

Yeah, I liked the original story, too. It's the OP's responses afterwards that are driving all the animosity towards him. No matter what story you post in OOT, you will get a few people who will reply and try to goad/troll you into flipping out. The OP played right into it with his talk of Maui Wowie fighting and registering his hands as lethal weapons.

The subsequent poker analogies have made everyone hate him, though. He's probably already on the road to [censored]-ville, but he needs to bail from this thread while he's still behind.

After sleeping on this story, I've decided that the OP's announcing that he was the captain of his high school's wrestling team is certainly the highlight.
