In the beginning, I copied a SC cd from a friend and lost my SC virginity with it. later I bought the brood wars cd. At that time you could use 1 cd-key for up to 3 comuters simltaniasly on the battlenet, naturally we shared the same copy of the original game (incl the same cd-key) with 4 people. everytime we wanted to do 2v2 one of us (the latest that logged in) would get an error wich at that time we didn't understand what it meant.

Anyways, I could play online just fine since only us 4 had that cd-key, but I wanted a cd-key of my very own. I bought the original star craft (wich included brood war from then on in an allinone package). And so I played happy for some years.

Now I haven't played the game in about 2 years and I moved 3 times in that time. I wanted to play it again so I searched for it, and while I can find every lousy game I ever bought, obviuosly starcraft is missing.

So I went out yesterday to buy it, I have seen it laying around soo many times (it's now 10 euro's for SC+BW in 1 box). I walked through the whole f Amsterdam, and obviously, no luck. Nowhere was the game still selling:S

So I found this dutch site on the internet:

and ordered a copy. I have to wait till tomorrow though to play it so I am now reading up on all the tactics again.

Anyways, Starcraft is such a good game, it has such good online features too. Why the hell would you download a cracked version (prolly not fully patched) and play on a private server (prolly full of cheaters) when you can get the game for like $15 max?

a) people actually know how to defend mass zerg attacks now
b) I got worse?
