Re: BBV4L...recommend some good rap/hip-hop songs for my ipod
Are we talking new rap or some rap a little more dated?
If you wanted dated heres a few: [censored] the Police by NWA Boyz in the Hood by NWA Gimme that Nut by NWA/Eazy E Straight out of Compton by NWA Natural Born Killaz by Dr. Dre/Ice Cube Dear Mama by Tupac When Thugs Cry by Tupac I could keep going on, but anything by Snoop, Dre, Tupac, Biggie, Method Man, Wu Tang Clan. Rap was at its best in the early 90s to mid 90s. Rap today is just crap compared to what they used to put out. |

Re: BBV4L...recommend some good rap/hip-hop songs for my ipod
I'm not so sure girls will like anything by immortal technique or j5, it's just out of that world ..
When you choose rap/hip-hop for girls you should try and stay a bit more mainstream |

When Thugs Cry by Tupac [/ QUOTE ] this is one of the few rap songs that I have heard and actually really liked... the only other rap songs that I can say I actually really like are.. tupac: changes (LDO) broken wings (probably just because I like the mr. mister song) warren g and nate dogg: regulators and that song with tupac and biggie...running? I think it's called..haven't heard it in years. maybe a few more than I can't remember...obviously I haven't even made much of an attempt at finding good rap music. |

Re: BBV4L...recommend some good rap/hip-hop songs for my ipod
Jay-Z wrote Still D.R.E. and the article I read about that left the impression that he ghostwrites other people's stuff as well. He may have "sold out", but he did so intentionally and self-consciously, and he still makes better music than Hurricane Chris et al. could ever hope to do.
I have a soft spot for T.I., though, who got some hate above. "24s" is definitely in the running for the most infectiously catchy rap song ever. That you're probably humming it right now is my evidence. |
