So i took my shot at 8/16 last night, I decided to buy in for a rack and see what happened. I've played a lot of 4/8 some 6/12 and a lot of 2-10, also 1/2NL so I'm used to the amount of money but this is the highest limit i have played.

I ran pretty good the whole session, I think I only lost on showdown twice, once to a runner runner, and the other time to some other sort of suckout

The table was pretty loose-passive or weak tight maybe 1 solid player, 1 lag, 1 pure goldmine fish, then a few donks a few weak tights. Had a pretty good handle on the table and I felt pretty confident

Ended up winning $520 so a good first experience, was the dude sitting in seat 7 on table 17.

THe runner runner hand: Flopped trips with J10 on a J J 2 rainbow board, LAG open bets I call button calls (Buttton is tight-ok kinda player)
Turn comes a 3: Lag checks I bet, call call
River 5: Lag Checks I bet, Button folds, Lag Check Raises, I call he shows A4 lol

Other hand I lost on showdown don't remember, but i'll probably be back at 8/16 again sometime, def a great game.

Nice Bapazian,
Good to see normal play can win in that game.
That suckout guy with A4 is classic Canterbury. Calls with no hand and no draw on the flop. LOL

Correction he BET with no draw or hand... he is LAGy though so its possible bc it was such a dry board he was taking a shot at the pot, especially considering that myself and the button were both relatively tight.

If i had raised the flop he most likely woulda folded, but its debateable. With that dry of a board I thought it was perfect to slowplay, just didn't work that time.
