Wow, I don't get why they cut Townsend from HSP4 to show Solorio, Brandon, etc. etc. etc.??? All of these new guys only bring more sucky players to the show...

Phil laak is a huge douche bag btw.

I don't get that "bad players" complaint. What high stakes poker game can survive without a sucker or two?

Half the reason I watch High Stakes is it's funny and reminds me of the crap that people pull at my home game. Hollywooding, donking, holding beef with other players after getting outplayed etc etc. I don't really watch it to see expert poker, luckily enough this season.

It does seem to be a bit out of hand this season though, especially when comparing it to the first two. Maybe it's just because it's the start of the game and everyone is getting settled in. The producers might have tried to get/portray this atmosphere at the start to try and get some new viewers who aren't die hard poker nuts into the show, and from hearing about the table make up in later episodes it might have some promise for showcasing better play.

My favourite parts of the second Episode are when Mike Matusow does his little waltz when he is about to semi-bluff-re-raise-all-in.

I just see it in his face when he is about to do it and its absolutely hilarious. Glad these moves worked out. I yet havent seen him make these moves with the nuts.
