I think it would be only fair - tables for people who cannot play more than one or two streets of poker and tables for people who can actually play real poker.

FTP kinda has this with their Cap NL tables, which are what, 30bbs deep? They still allow 20bb buyins on regular tables though.

I am rather surprised at this attitude. Not because it's wrong, but that I thought this attitude had been totally debunked around here. Shortstackers obviously get the least enjoyment out of the game - but they've already assumed that everyone else views the game as a horrible, methodical grind. FWIW, I think most of MSNL sees the game this way.

I still [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] poker as long as I'm not running bad. Although the fact that I haven't played more than, say, 20k hands in a month in ages prob has something to do with it.

Also, always fun to have another thread where Thremp just calls everyone an idiot without making a single rational point or offering any indication that he has a clue how to play poker.

craig1120, you don't really understand that multiway GT optimal strategies get all murky and depending on your style of play and style of play (and stack sizes) of others you lose equity against some villains and gain equity against others. That is why shortstacking is unexploitable.

That is why they can ruin the fun in the games for their profit. And that is why they should have their own tables, as I suggested above, where they can compete with other shortstacks while people who aren't too retarded or lazy to play poker on multiple streets can play against their equals.

How about there are two kinds of tables:
a) max BI 20BB, min BI 10BB
b) max BI 100BB, min BI 50BB

[/ QUOTE ]

Table a would be hilarious if it forced you to leave once you reached 30BB.

thremp proves he has no clue how to play poker every time he sits down at a table.

craig, you're incorrect. but this thread has been done several times before and it's a boring argument. go look up DerekJCEX's thread in BBV about 'pos ratholers'

Stars should just make 100 min buyin tables along with the standard tables. You will see a few regs playing against each other. 90% of the fish will play the 20bb min tables anyway.

I dont think it hurts for them to do it as a trial period and see what happens though
