The only non white person I've seen was at the truck stop mopping up. He seemed like a nice native american fellow, I asked him where the ATM was (I am retarded and walked right past it when I walked in and didn't see it) and he said 'me no english' and I nodded to him and kept looking. They've been so nice around here I can't imagine it would matter on your ethnicity. Maybe its because most of my interactions are with the hotel staff where they're paid to be nice but I didn't get any horribly racist vibes off these people.

Wait, now that I think of it, we went to Ben's Cafe before my friend left and there were 2 young hispanic looking gals. THEY SUCKED SO BAD. It was the slowest service I've ever seen lol. Later on a hotel person was suggesting places to eat to a couple in the lobby and she was like 'well, you could go to Bens... but they're really slow.' Made me chuckle.

I got into Vegas at about 3am this morning, moved my stuff in and then went to sleep. I'm setting all my stuff up at the moment. Trying to figure out how I can get a new car, take dealer school classes and live for the next month with only a few hundred bucks. I'm trying to get a short term loan so I don't have to get a job right away that would eat into me being able to go to dealer school all day and night. I was talking with some dealers and they said it takes about 4 weeks but if you go in all the time and learn it quickly you can be done in 2-3 weeks and get a job at a starter house. Right now it looks like the way I can make the most money out here and have an enjoyable job until I take the Foreign Service Test and hopefully go overseas and don't have to deal with stuff like this lol.

I told my friend that posts here all the time about this thread so I'm waiting for him to look at it and get mad at me again for no reason. The one that lives in Vegas said the one that was driving out with me didn't care if I was mad at him because he was still mad at me for a situation involving his girlfriend at our old place. He got real mad at me when I requested, and then demanded, that she pay rent or not live in our apt. 2-3 weeks a month. This happened about 8 months ago but I guess he's still holding a grudge about it and using it as reasoning to be a dick to me whenever he wants. Pretty sweet, eh?

Oh yeah, he apologized to me for not coming to get me saying he was really tired and didn't want to go and how the other guy had to work in the morning and didn't want to be dead at work and get in trouble. Then he went on to tell me about all the hands of poker and what the tables were like as they played poker til 4-5am.
