Re: Today I became a pro.
It is not a gimmick when I have given his screen name and you can see for yourself; wickss is playing 100 tourneys per day on pokerstars. Interestingly enough, if you care to, you can also pull up my sng stats on partypoker and pokerstars if you care to. The screen name for both is mjnumb23. I seldom play anymore, and if I do, it is usually cash games for low stakes.

Re: Today I became a pro.
How are you playing on Party Poker in the US? Or you don't live in the US?

Re: Today I became a pro.
We both live in Wichita, KS. Obviously, I don't play on party poker since the legislation. I meant if any of the software still has old party statistics, I will show up under the screen name mjnumb23. Personally, I don't have sharkscope or any others, so I don't know if it has that information, you guys tell me.

Kibby != Slim - this is for certain. I like everything that slim has to say but I'm certain it wouldn't work for me. I guess its a question of goals. Would you rather grind away for a long time at low returns but be confident at where you were at and have a low chance of ruin? or Would you rather find out if you have what it takes (or burn out an go away through no fault of your own) within a month or two but make more money than in a week than driving a cab in a month? I'm a nit with a job and I chose the first but I can see how lots of people like the second. [/ QUOTE ] I wish I had followed Slim's approach a couple years back. |

Re: Today I became a pro.
Today...err...yesterday I played 67 tourneys and was up $100 then I played 72 more and I lost $90. Is this normal variance?
Then about 12:30 I said "screw this" and played PLO. The games were really good and I made $110. Tomorrow I think I'll play the $6 tourneys. Maybe I'll lean on the cash games a little more. |

Re: Today I became a pro.
you played 139 tourneys BEFORE 12.30pm?
Maybe you can maintain 100 tourneys a day... edit: corrected typo, improved formatting |
