I remember a few weeks ago when somebody was asking for a good horror movie and was pointed towards Descent. I watched it, and enjoyed it thoroughly. It's not often these days that I get to see a well done horror movie. But I wasn't half as scared watching that as I was tonight upon finally watching...

Holy [censored] [censored] I'm going to have nightmares now for weeks!

yeah, i was the one who asked for a horror and i thought the descent sucked pretty hard. didn't even find it scary and i'm a complete wuss.

as for jesus camp, yeah the religious right is pretty terrifying. this movie, as well as some of the stuff from that richard dawkins flick show a side that a lot of don't see often.

The scariest part was blatant war on science that these parents were indoctrinating into their children. A mother tells her son that he needs to make a choice to either believe in science or believe in God. The anti-abortion guy talking about fetuses not being just a bunch of "protoplasm" then turning to the kids and saying snarkily "whatever that is...". HUH? Your belief is based on the fact that you as a grown man and a bunch of brainwashed pre-teens don't know what "protoplasm" is? Scary.

I just saw Children of Men. Best recent film I've seen in absolutely ages. Definitely recommended.

Saw this movie tonight:

Saw this tonight for the first time. Good movie, I enjoyed it alot. Its a story of three young men in South Central, LA. Cuba Gooding Jr. is the main character, accompanied by his two friends Ricky and Darin, brothers. Ricky and Cuba are both trying to get out of the street life.
