i personally think dasani is gross. its got some really wierd taste and i think its worse than tap water. seems like a plastic taste or something

smart water is just normal water (probably de-i and R/O'd) with added electrolytes. its my go to water to prevent hangovers

Doing a Google search, I didn't find any sources worth passing along, but there are numerous journal articles and studies about the benefits of an alkaline diet, as well as some readily available books (incl. that infomercial book by Kevin Trudeau, forget the title).

Isn't Kevin Trudeau that "Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About" douchebag?

The reason you couldn't find any sources worth passing along is that there aren't any. No peer-reviewed journal would ever publish the complete gibberish that Kevin Trudeau is spewing.

I hope you are just a shill for Trudeau, if not, please get help.

I will no longer take anything you say seriously.

Long before Trudeau's book came out, buddy. For decades this has been thought to be true, not just the past year w/ some idiot infomercialist who saw an opportunity to make a quick buck passing along hollow suggestions, alright? I truly hope you're a student and have free access to Lexis/Nexis and online med. journals. That's never been something Google's provided. Stop being a troll.

is anyone here a water snob or conniseur who thinks they could easily discern between:

-expensive $30/bottle water
-moderately expensive spring water
-standard dasani/aquafina water
-filtered brita water
-tap water
-melted ice cubes

if so, i would be interested in getting a prop bet put together on this.

KROQ in LA did this with thier engineer "Lightning". Apparently he went 5 for 5.

I'm not a student, I'm a physician. I have access to every legitimate medical journal. There is no evidence to back up the acid theory of disease. I stand by my original statement.

i had a prof who said she did a study on bottled watter during grad school or something and had some bad things to say about aquafina and dasani (coke and pepsi's waters). she in fact said she would sooner drink toilet water than either of those two.

I think bottled water is one of the biggest and most profitable scams out there.

I drink and bath strictly in Evian brand bottled water. No other brand or natural water source is good enough to enter my personal space.

I've lived in 6 different states all across the U.S. and I've never had any problems with tap water ever. Just don't understand the "paying for water" trend that started 10 or so years ago. Seems like something that would've gotten a person laughed out of the meeting when they presented it to the higher ups at their company, and it seems like the biggest rip off I can think of.
