Are you talking about the episode where Kramer is hitting golf balls into the ocean, and lands one in a whales blowhole? Under no legal obligation, he jumps in the water and dislodges the ball and becomes a hero. Man I love that episode!
(The uncut DVD version is even better. After he saves the whale he calls it a stupid ni..er and storms off the beach in a sea of controversy. Classic!)

No, the final episode where Seinfeld and friends stand by andlaugh while John Pinnette is mugged, in an actual town where inaction of onlooking bystanders during the commission of a crime was curiously made criminal.
