Someone already pointed this out but just because you are a pro/high limit player and have a clean history doesnt mean you cant be a theif as well. Im sure zeejustin's history was clean until a few months ago.

that said lets take a look at a few things:
A) OP was on a televised event where he said he was an online pro and his online handle is DanDruff
B) OP post regulary at neverwins forum. He even has his own section.

Lets assume for a moment that holdum is not a saavy comp user. He downloads a file with a trojan horse which has a key logger to his comp. Holdum opens pokerstars and logs in. hacker now has his password giving him full access to the account. hacker now sends a small ammount(a penny!) to a known player who will post on an open forum about his experience. Hacker now knows with a good amount of detail how pokerstars will handle the transfer problem. Holdum now changes his password but that doesnt matter because there is still a key logger on his comp. If stars is inept on the receivers side, the hacker can set up an account(or use one he when busto on) to clean out holdums account and get it out of stars hands before they can stop him. If stars does something like oh.. say freeze the receiver's account, hacker can find try to find a new way to steal the money with no personal risk(ie getting banned from stars and having no way to get the money in his pocket)

Put yourself in holdums shoes you would want your money back from the receiver which might not be possible if his account isnt frozen.

Next time I see a juicy game on Stars, I'll be sure to have one of my friends transfer 1c to any of the good players that sit down. Their accounts will all get suspended, I will win big, and everyone will be happy. Excellent policy!

There are a lot of bracelet winners that could use that penny.
