Re: mmmmmm, Sunday
So I went on that trip to Potsdam Germany that I mentioned a while back. It was my first European trip. Being from Canada though I didn't find it that much different. I think we tend to have a mix of European and American culture here. Anyway, I enjoyed it. Their mass transit system makes ours laughable. Of course, we have less people and more space. I wish I had more time to visit because I was there on a conference. I'll have to go back sometime.

Re: mmmmmm, Sunday
green dots designate helmets with receivers in them for transmissions from the sideline. only one allowed on the field at a time.
edit: abs wins by 60-120 seconds. |

Re: mmmmmm, Sunday
Huh. I guess I didn't know it was allowed for a player other than the QB to have a radio.

Re: mmmmmm, Sunday
FTP .5/1 tables were all sub 30 % flop today, 1/2 had several in high 30's, so I took my first crack at 1/2 after 35k hands of breakeven .5/1. Seems all you read are complaints about running bad when someone first moves up, I got hit with the deck for 60 BB's in 250 hands. I'm about 20/11/2.5 at .5/1, was 19/13/4.3 with 72% showdowns won. But besides that, not only are there as many bad players at 1/2 as .5/1, there are fewer good players. Often half the table was 30+ VPIP and other half was <15, at .5/1 usually half are 20/10 TAGS.

Re: mmmmmm, Sunday
Went to a casino on Saturday night & witnessed the most lol call down ever.
2.50/5.00 NL Board: A642K dude calls $10 bet on river with 73o lol, other guy had an A obv. It was the most passive/fishy game I've ever seen, even tho I have relatively no NL experience the game look great! Pity the waiting list was too massive. So I played BJ instead, which paid for dinner! |

Huh. I guess I didn't know it was allowed for a player other than the QB to have a radio. [/ QUOTE ] It's not. Tyler meant radio receivers, not catch-the-ball, wear-numbers-80-to-89 receivers. nit edit: It's only one radio per team so I guess somebody other than a QB could have the radio, but it makes much more sense for the QB to have it. |

All, I guess you can call me a football n00b or whatever, but could someone tell me why all the QBs are wearing green dots on the backs of their helmets this year? [/ QUOTE ] Green dot means that the helmet has the intercom built it for calling plays from the sidelines. |

Re: mmmmmm, Sunday
Absolution's post reminds me that I'll mention that I'll be in Europe (Switzerland/France/Germany) from the 17th to the 28th. You'll have to do without my wisdom for 2 weeks (hell, I probably haven't contributed much content besides my av for 2 years).
Pics to follow, as long as my camera doesn't suck! |
