Just as Al J got really pissed when the trade rumors surrounding AI were going on, it seems the Cs got pissed about talk of "shutting it down." This looks really good for next year.

Perk looks to be over his foot problems he's had a bunch of 11-12 rebound games recently and really has been shutting down guys like Bosh, Howard, Curry, etc.

I'm starting to warm to the idea of him being a starting center, drafting/playing Durant at the 3, and moving Paul Pierce back to the 2 next year. That would be awesome.

Delonte
Pierce
Durant
Al J
Perk

Pretty much can't be contained on either end of the court. Gauransheed championship '09 if this happens.

xorbie,

RONDOOOOOOOOOOO at the 1.

Either way, Danny Ainge is an absolute genius.

GKA,

Yeah either is fine. I'd also really only Perk if playing a team with a dominant post player (or two, really). Otherwise you can just play

Rondo
Pierce/Allen
Durant
GG
Al J

and if those guys can learn solid team defense, they'd be a really hard unit to stop offensively with two excellent outside shooters (who are both tall and long) and two excellent slashers, plus an elite low post player.

With that linup I'd want Perk coming off the bench for the most part, with Gomes getting very limited minutes (wouldn't need him for offense and Perk > Gomes defensively on some random big guy).

The big thing is I'd like to see our reseverves of Telfair, Powe, Scalabrine, and Ray be just that--- reserves. Leon Powe playing center will not lead us to the playoffs.

You really need a max of ten players on your team:

1. Rondo
2. West
3. Allen
4. Wally
5. Green*
6. Pierce
7. Gomes*
8. 2007 Pick
9. Perkins
10. Jefferson

*I'd like to see Gomes and Green really just play about 5-6 minutes between 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th to give our stars an extended rest, so they both get about 10-12 mpg each. Neither is really suited for rotation mintues on a contending team, which this team should be in the East next year. When Wally invariably gets injured, they can split his minutes.
