I have just moved to stars and am calculating the bonuses you can buy with fpps and am converting that to RB %s.

I am kinda meh with math, so can someone confirm this please?

Here are the bonuses: 25000 fpps gets you $285 (need gold status).

50000 = $650 (platinum).

100000 = $1500 (supernova).

At gold 88 fpps = $1
At plat 77 fpps = $1
At supernova 67 fpps = $1

Gold = 11% RB ($800 raked in a month). Earn fpps at 2x (playing sngs 10 fpp per $1 paid)

Platinum = 16% RB ($2000 raked in a month). Earn fpps at 2.5x.

Supernova = 26% RB (100000 vpps in a year, $40000 paid in rake in a year using platinum 2.5x earning ratio). Earn fpps at 3.5x.

Thanks.

What's the point of moving when ftp gives you 27% rb right off the bat? You would be losing alot of money. I probably can't even get supernova at pokerstars so I would be losing alot of money.

I'm moving to stars for at least a while b/c there are a ton of regulars at the 22 to 55 level and have found it impossible at points to load sets during GMT -5 at night. Also regulars having started calling me extremely light I have found. Also I ran [censored] and wanted to get a new start at stars.

If you can earn a higher ROI on stars (which I do think might be possible), then there's a possibility that the increase in ROI offsets the lower RB. I am going to play like 1000-2000 sngs on stars and then do more calculations.

Also the rake is slightly a better deal on stars for the $15+$1 and the $25+$2 as opposed to ftps $22+$2 and $11+$1.

Can you calculate if the rake is slightly better at pokerstars will it make up for that 1% of more rake at ftp?
You would be losing alot of money because you begin rakeback at Platinum and then you have to get supernova in order to get 26% rakeback.

i thought stars was like 27% if you factor in milestone bonuses, vip freerolls, and more frequent deposit bonuses. but i could be wrong.

No idea but I for one don't want to have to play in those free rolls but they force you because you don't want to give away free money.I heard it was 27% too but I don't know. Let's just say it takes you like 8 months to earn supernova you lost alot of rakeback in those 8 months then right.

Can someone(Josem?) step me through how to datamine on Full Tilt. I understand I can observe hands but is there some nifty application to keep tables open for me?

kleath,
I haven't played with spacegravy. I have played a decent amount with a few massive multitablers and a few icons/subicons. My experience was that everyone failed to adjust when the player on their left was calling wide, and none of them was playing more than 12 tables.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thats not really what Im saying, Im saying most of the opponents, even most who notice he's shoving super wide, still call too tight.

[/ QUOTE ]

Play 1500 $60s/month for 5 or 6 months and see if you still feel the same.

[/ QUOTE ]

wtf would I stay at the 60s for 6 months? And beyond that the suspect in question hasnt been playing for the last 6 months so you're just being condescending for the sake of being a jackass.

All you have to do is open up tables and run PT import. Are you asking if there is a program that will close a table when like 3 players or less are seated and open up another? If so then I don't know about that.

Do these numbers take into account the FPPS you make while clearing the bonus?

You pay less rake on Stars plus you get FPP's.
