Re: Random Music Interlude
200NL live is like playing 10NL online pretty much.

Re: Random Music Interlude
I highly recommend the 1/3 uncapped game at the Wynn. It was very fishy and you get to play deep stacked poker.

[/ QUOTE ] Somewhere between NL$100 and NL$400 depending on the table. I would add that ther eis no reason to seek out a 5/10 game as there are plenty of 1/2 and 2/5 tables that let you buy in deep (Wynn, Caesar's and I am sure others have joined them). |

Re: Random Music Interlude
why do you guys like to play live?
maybe its just me, but to me everyone seems to be a jerk, playing goes sooooo slow, and I make more $/houre 8 tabling 25 nl than 1 tabling 1K nl live. |

[/ QUOTE ] I guess it depends on what you are going for, but I've pulled $1200 off a 1/2 table before... And the 5/10 tables generally have people who are solid grinders. Basically figure it this way, 1/2 will let you play people who play comparable to .10/.25 nl in a live setting deep. In other words you get to play fish who overvalue Big pairs playing deep and don't have any idea about position. Easy monies unless you run pretty bad. I loved this post about 1/2 from dan bright Live 1/2, or Beating on the Handicap like its a Sport While it sounds pretty far out there, if you can think outside the lines this is a pretty easy way to win money of the fish(provided you are decent postflop) Ehhh, to much poker in the life thread |

Re: Random Music Interlude
One last vegas poker question.
I have read that the 1/3 game at the Wynn is full of solid players. If I beat SSNL online at 4+ pt/100, I'm I correct to believe what the general vegas reviews call "solid" players in the 1/2 - 2/5 NL games, I would call fish? |

[/ QUOTE ] I won't be afraid of any random table of 1/2 or 1/3 players in Vegas. You are overthinking this. Any room that has at least 3 tables of 1/2 running will be good. All rooms after 10PM on a Friday night will be great. For the most part just play where you want and quit worrying about local sharks. Most of the locals are terrible and it's much easier to spot the good players live than it is online. |
