Cha,
I would raise 222 rather than shove because I would never shove a set here either. I mean it doesn't make much of a difference but I would almost never overbet shove here because its too easy for someone to be like OMG OVERBET SHOVE = DRAW I CALL WITH JT but a smaller raise looks stronger so it can fold out a lot of one pair hands.

I would never fold and calling is reasonable but I think you can take this down a lot and never really have bad equity when you get it in.

BTW there will be lower fds out there and that is one reason i like calling because once you hit your fd. Nobody will ever fold a lower flush.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe we're splitting hairs between the ~222 raise and shoving, but I like shoving better because it makes for a more standard play on the turn.

I don't think overall it will increase your FE by betting ~222. I know for a fact some players will call a ~222 bet with some hands that they wont call a shove with. Others are more likely to call a shove like you suggest. I guess you're getting all in on any turn if you bet ~222 anyway so that play is fine, but I'm more comfortable just getting it in on the flop if I'm raising at all.

I still think calling is fine and folding is the least attractive option, but it probably isn't awful.

I picked the right week to start reading NVG. There's another awesome Brandi thread. Apparently, she sucks at both playing head-up poker and lying. "This is no limit?"

My brother has caught his 1 outer and is still alive. Machine acting as his liver, machine acting as his kidneys, machine keeping his heart going and machine pumping his lungs. Feeds through his nose, drips for antibiotics , glucose (or whatever it is they use to try to stabilise blood sugar levels coz he's diabetic too). He smiled at my sister talking about our childhood this morning, so there is something still working in there. Now in a high dependency unit. Whatever your god, if you would add a prayer for my brother I would appreciate it. ktx.
