Oh roundtower that's such a bad idea - you realize that you can't beat anyone in that alliance in the finals right?

[/ QUOTE ]
As far as I can see I can't beat anyone in the finals

[/ QUOTE ]
I'm pretty sure that you would have a shot against any Eskimo, Bravos, or me after today. Notice how none of those people are in their alliance currently.

dmk if we cap the alliance at 4 here you think that improves your chances?

[/ QUOTE ]

no, i require 5 ppl

[/ QUOTE ]

see i think you are miscalculating here

i know you want to be the swing vote and then make final 3 and see what happens. but if we have a 4 person alliance you probably make the final 3 in my opinion as well and i think you have a better shot at winning maybe

but i guess i can see your logic as well and wont fault you for it

meanwhile, monk hasnt committed, and now he is forced to. i kind of liked the idea of forcing people to commit before they were forced too. Roundtower and you did that

And about Mets saying I should have voted for someone else - I voted for myself because I was (and still am) willing to do the dirty work here. I didn't want to volunteer anyone else by voting for them but I indicated I would be willing to vote for anyone who saw what I saw and agreed with me and wanted to be elected.

I love how Herbie acts like kicking out me or mets is "the dirty work" and he's doing everybody a favour.

If he votes us out, and makes the final, he probably wins the game.

You see how that can work against me right? but srsly you think I beat DMK? I'm not sure I'd beat anybody the way today is going.

you voting for yourself was dumb.

if you voted for roundtower, he was more likely to join you

now you vote for roundtower cause you realize this, and it's too little too late

Also note the implied assumption here that

1. The final voting order is predetermined and
2. I have to get rid of Zurvan/Mets for this to work for me

Once again I say that allying with these two is distinctly -ev for everyone else as they have a sort of implied alliance of necessity between the two of them because they both know that no one else will beat either of them in the final two therefore they have incentive to keep each other around to avoid getting booted in the round of 3. If they are both alive when it gets down to 4 it's game over for everyone else at that point.

Nah - if I had done it the other way you would be criticizing me for refusing to get my hands dirty - it's all good. You have to do whatever you can to throw dirt on me. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] anyways - if this fails I hope one of you/zurv wins honestly

None of Dustin, Kokiri or val made it a secret that they were out to get myself & mets, and would reward anyone that got us out. Dustin even claimed to be willing to die to see us go.

Mets & I were forced to team up today because of you. Had you not come out swinging for both of us, we may not be teamed up right now. My strategy for today was to see how things were going to fall out before committing - and you forced my hand by going after me. Since you went after mets as well, we are natural allies at this point in the game.

As for point #2 - if you come out after someone else today, maybe you're mayor.
