Bobbo congrats, and I seriously can't wait until it gets published. If I had any clout with MM, I'd definitely try to help you out.

Everything I've ever seen you post has been helpful and well written, and I'm sure the book will be the same.

I'm going to sleep for about 2 hours now, then take some substances of some kind and go up to Winstar. I'm buying in for $400 IN WHITE at 4/8 limit and I'm pretty much gonna make my goal to piss off as many people as possible. Ipod, sunglasses, the whole nine yards.

Did I mention I'll be playing at least 75% of my hands, and I will never call a single bet the entire day. I will either bet raise or fold. If it's capped, I guess I don't really have a choice and I'll have to call.

The inevitable questions will be:
"Why are you doing this?"
-My answer - Because I have cancer

"Are you really going to keep doing this?"
-I'll keep playing until you cure cancer

"What did you have, I made a big fold"
-I had cancer

I'll obviously end up losing $400, but sometimes..... that's just what has to happen.

Future,

Wow, definitely makes me think that he had me now on that hand. Wasn't the best board for aces and he seemed like a postflop nit.

Not an interesting hand but I've never seen a person leave so fast. He INSTA HIT AND RAN. I swear it must have been less than 1 second.

lolllllllll it clearly wasn't funny I guess, but saying "you are disgusting and a piece of [censored]." is nice. Wah wah I'm sorry cancer is a touchy subject for you. Cancer, heart disease, whatever happens. I feel like it would be funny because they wouldn't really know wtf to say. The fact that I'm defending myself even is dumber.

I am THE most generous, caring, and genuinely GOOD perso I know, and I don't need your approval to believe this. wah wah wah maybe your dad died from cancer or something. I'm very sorry to hear that. My grandpa who I am very close survived cancer, but I'm not close to any other cancer patients.

This is a butchering of a quote by Joe Rogan? I think, but here goes.

"If your offended by what I have to say, go roll around in barbed wire with Magic Johnson."

Go [censored] yourself.

EDIT: and if karma exists, I'll probably get some horrible form of cancer, but my friends who I help out when they're in trouble will be top scientists and will develop a cure.

Correct. I am not humble. When I do well in poker, I let everyone know. When I don't do well, I let everyone know. If I had a $200k trust fund coming when I turned 21, I'd probably post about it every day. If I'm gonna post here I want approval, and I guess that's just an emotional/personaliy thing.

Overbet shoves. One of the best and most underused tools in no limit hold them:

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $177.10
Hero (BB): $113.25
UTG: $139.00
CO: $146.55
BTN: $97.65

Preflop: Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG folds, CO calls $1.00, BTN folds, SB calls $0.50, Hero checks

Flop: ($3) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.50, CO calls $2.50, SB calls $2.50

Turn: ($10.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8.00, CO calls $8.00, SB folds

River: ($26.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets all-in for $101.75, CO calls $101.75

Pot Size: $230.00 ($2 Rake)

CO had T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and LOST (-$113.25)
Hero had 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a full house, Queens full of Eights) and WON (+$114.75)
