Ottawa fan here, and while we've definately benefitted from the officiating (mostly because Buffalo's special teams are teh suck) I'll agree it's been brutal in this series. Way, way too many terrible interference type calls on both sides. Particularly really cheap hooking calls.
Buffalo was a completely different team in the first period and really showed what they can do. But that second period may have done them in. Gut check time for Buffalo. They can still come back if they play like they did in the first. I was fully expecting this to go 7, but this could turn out to be a short series if the Sabres don't come out flying.

[/ QUOTE ] If there's one thing I know, they won't quit. Even if they lose tonight. Emery is just too shaky. Still, they have to show a first period effort.
