What do you think about Hero's play?

Hero is a lag regular. Utg is 25/9 1.6/1/2.6 somewhat regular loser.

laughably bad. (i hope you didnt play this hand )

the pf raise is pretty [censored]. blow it up to 140 or 150.

the flop play is lol bad. someone has a set. thats what they were limp calling pf. bet fold.

It wasn't me.

I posted it because I thought it wasn't played well, but hero in the hand is a huge winner and widely regarded as extremely good so I wanted to see if other people liked it. Sign onto AIM some time and I'll tell you who it was and what villian had.

well, you close action and probably have super good implied odds so seems like an easy call

Eh I think it's actually kind of close. UTG has 240 behind and the deepest of the others has 490 behind.

Yeah but you only have to call $39 into $185 and you close action in a 4-way pot.

Villain is a nit 8/6 over ~100 hands, what kind of flops am I looking for here.

Note sb only has a starting stack of $10.95, how much of a raise would you call here? I'm thinking I should muck it for anything more.

UTG ($11.50)
Hero ($29.15)
MP1 ($24.05)
MP2 ($23.80)
MP3 ($34.70)
CO ($27.15)
Button ($4.65)
SB ($10.95)
BB ($23.40)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

What did SB buy in for? Is he a shortstacker who bought in for $5 and has doubled up?

Default Flopped straight on a reraised monotone flop

Villain in this hand is a regular. I have ~ 300 hands with him. This is my first time playing with him on my immediate left. I'm running about 31/21/2.6 during this session. This villain is on one other table with me at this time. My overall PT stats on him are 25/13/1.8. This is the third time he's 3bet me on this table (time frame unknown), and I have folded the previous 2.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.30 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($48.10)

Hero ($93.10)
Button ($63.15)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to $1.2, Button raises to $4.05, 2 folds, Hero calls $2.85.

Flop: ($8.55) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
